Product Description

Safely ride rear-facing longer! The Graco Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat grows with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lbs) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lbs). It features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to safely ride rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lbs rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat. This car seat is Graco ProtectPlus Engineered to help protect in frontal, side, rear, and rollover crashes.

I love this car seat. I have bought 3 so far!! One for myself, my husband and my mother… we all have this car seat in our cars and love it. My son grew quickly out of the Chicco infant car seat and I was scrambling to find something that would grow with him. He sits very comfortable in it. He also doesn’t sweat a lot in it. I live in Florida and it is pretty hot year round. I wanted to find something that wouldn’t make him too hot. So far this car seat has done an awesome job! I would recommend this car seat, I am very happy with it.

My child is rear facing still. The law in my state is until 2 years old. She likes this car seat so much more. It has 6 reclining positions, 3 for front facing, 3 for rear. Having the multiple settings is awesome especially on long drives. It also has a leg rest that comes out of it when they are forward facing. We have an older kiddo that doesn’t have this on his car seat and he says his legs hurt after awhile. Very nice feature. The material is soft but easy to clean. I have not had to run it through the wash yet and have been able to use a wipe to clean it. It is a cushy material though and pretty soft for the durability. I can definitely tell my daughter likes it better than what she had before. I move it from one car to the other quite frequently. One car has the hooks in the seat and the other uses a belt to secure. It is pretty simple to install either way. The seat itself is not super heavy but does feel sturdy and safe. There is a headrest that moves up and down to adjust for her height. She is short for her age, so that is a great feature too. I could see it being beneficial for taller kids as well. Definitely a very versatile car seat, comfortable, easy to clean. I would buy it again. Have not had a single problem or issue with it. The seller was great too, it arrived quickly and there was no damage to it.

If you are searching for a top of the line car seat, THIS IS IT! Okay, so I was a bit nervous because so many car seats are priced at $300+ ….we are grandparents, and this is for our youngest grandchild and we are not sure if there will be more grandchildren so we really could not justify spending $300+ on a car seat. I mean, I totally get it, these car seats are now made to grow with your child/grandchildren, but WOW! $300 is a LOT of money. We carefully read through ALL of the reviews on several car seats. I went with my gut instinct on this one. I was leery because it was half the price as others, but boy am I so glad that we selected this one. There is literally ZERO difference in the quality of this car seat compared to the $300+ car seats that we seen in the stores. *Note: I almost had a major meltdown trying to install and adjust this huge/heavy thing, but after watching a Youtube video, it was a whole LOT easier to install and adjust than I initially thought. So do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache of installing this thing and go straight to Youtube and watch the installation videos. We found two of them, one for rear-facing install and one for front-facing install. It was such a huge help! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this car seat and we are extremely grateful to this company for selling them at a much more affordable price! I will be buying from this company again and again just because of that. THANK YOU!

We’ve had this car seat for 2 1/2 years, it still works great. The seat is sturdy, easy to adjust. My daughter loves the “footrest”. I read other reviews and wanted to comment about washing the material. I have washed it several times, no ripping, extremely easy to take apart and put back together. I’m not even that careful when I’ve laundered it so I’m not sure what could have happened for others. My only thing I would change is perhaps get a different color than I bought. The lighter grey and mint was easily stained, and I wish I bought a darker color.I just bought a second car seat that will let me get her eventually to a booster and I bought another Graco with similar features so putting it together and adjusting it has been easy too. I looked at and even bought a few other brands and Graco is the best affordable and versatile one for me!

I purchased this seat for my daughter who is 8 months old, 25.75 inches long and weighs 17 pounds. We have it installed using the LATCH system. I spent months looking and comparing seats online. I have previously been a die-hard Diono fan, but have been falling out of love with them and came to rest on the Extend2Fit. I went back and forth about ordering it, but now I wish I had sooner! My daughter loves her big girl seat! It sits up high enough that she can see out the window, but not so high as to block visibility. The seat is nicely padded and seems very comfy. We removed the extra head padding and kept the body support, and this combination has my daughter nice and secure without being squished. A newborn would definitely fit in this seat with all the extra padding. The headrest adjusts easily and quickly with one hand (which also adjust the harness height) and can be done with the child in the seat. The install took me about 5 minutes, most of which was spent trying to decide which recline position would be best for her. Quick, painless and very secure without having to wrestle with the seat, and it is very compact front to back, so fits well in a small car. The seat cover is also machine washable, and comes out looking like new (we already tested that theory!). Overall, we absolutely love this seat. If you are wondering if the Extend2Fit is the right choice, the answer is yes!

Let me just say, I might be a little bit bias. 2 years ago, my wife was t-boned (side impact) at an intersection by a careless driver when driving both our daughters to daycare. Her Large SUV was spun around several times. It was totaled. My eldest, 1 at the time was in this exact seat (Gotham grey). Her sister (1-month-old) in Greco’s infant carrier was a hand me down from when her sister outgrew it. Other than some bruising from the restraints and fussiness over the next few days, both kids were no worse for wear. So, I’m a fan of Graco car seats. With that said, the youngest is overdue for an upgrade. She’s a little petite compared to her older sister (96 percentile in height/weight). When I saw I could pick these up for a decent price in an “unpopular” color ($100 less), I was all in. So, I bought two. One for each of our cars. The oldest had this model for more than a year now. They install easily, they are easy to clean, and they adjust easily too. You pull and lift as they grow. Dummy proof. Going from rear-facing to the front is a snap. We have mid-sized SUVs if that’s any indication. Also, both kids are a bit messy on road tips and have soaked through diapers on more than one occasion. The cushions come off easily and can be thrown in the washer and dryer then placed back on. I have installed other cheaper brands for relatives and friends. However, Greco is by far much more secure. When installed for front-facing, it does rock side to side as the others do. I worry about how their kids will fair in a side-impact crash. Oh, one more thing, when I tore these down for the first time, I found all the little nooks and crannies to store the shoulder pads and manual so you don’t lose it as they grow. I didn’t read the manual to discover that, just used the pictures on the side of the seat. These are really that easy to install and tear down.

Don’t even think for a moment that this is going to be one of those car seats that you quickly remove from Parent #1’s vehicle to Parent #2’s vehicle depending upon who is picking up and delivering the child. Installing it (via the seatbelt) was a nightmare. Just for the record, it will be easier to install if: (A) the person snaking the seatbelt through the slot–which is supposedly marked in blue, but there was no such marking–has very long-fingered, slender hands; (B) there is someone on the other side to grab the seat belt as they snake it through the slot, and fasten it down; (C) you have made certain, prior to even starting to fasten it down, that you have ALL of these features– the recline, the legroom, and the crotch portion of the car seat belt–ALL set exactly the way you want them BEFORE fastening the seat into place!! Do all of those things, and installation, if not a breeze, will be much simpler. ALSO, a STERN warning regarding your ability to see if the car seat is set in the rear-facing position: I was trying to back out of a narrow parking space, and realized that the car seat, combined with the headrest on the passenger seat of my small sedan COMPLETELY blocked my vision to that side of the car. As soon as I got home, I yanked out my car instruction manual and learned how to remove the passenger seat headrest, leaving me a small amount of window space for safety’s sake when trying to back up. Depending on the size of your car, you may really need to do this!!!

I love this car seat! ***WE’RE USING IT AS A REAR FACING SEAT FOR OUR 4 MONTH OLD***Not only is it super cute, my daughter loves it! She doesn’t scream on our car rides anymore.First off, installation is easy! I kept reading the instructions trying to find the catch, but truly, I had it installed for the first time within 10 minutes, when I have to remove it next it’ll be less than a minute to re-install.Now, it is heavy, but that’s okay because it isn’t a seat that is intended to be taken out of the car and put back in consistently. Convertible car seats are simply heavier than their infant seat counterparts. If it is within your means to buy one for each vehicle, I would recommend it. The recline is super easy and it can be adjusted while the seat is installed, which is convenient and because there are 6 settings, there is definitely one that will work just perfectly for her.Now as far as fit goes … it didn’t fit in my Toyota Corolla in the rear facing position. It would forward facing, but not rear. We would have to move the front seat up considerably in order to get it to recline to the correct setting. That didn’t work for us. It did fit in our Toyota Rav4 so we decided to install it there and purchase a Evenflo Go to Grow for the Corolla. Let me say this, I wish that the Graco Extend2fit would fit in the smaller car because the Evenflo isn’t a fraction as nice or as easy to use or as easy to install. It seems as though no matter how much I pull and pull on the latching strap for the Evenflo, it is never snug and moves a lot. The recline on the Evenflo can’t be adjusted while installed and the handle to adjust it has to be pulled very far to engage the recline making it difficult to adjust it and pull the handle at the same time.I feel as if she is safer in the Extend2fit vs. the Evenflo.

I have used different brands and this is by far the best! It’s not the cheapest car seat, but it’s not super expensive either! A lot of the negative reviews say that it’s impossible to secure the seat tight enough to make it safe. I have 3 of these car seats (in different cars, so we don’t have to switch them around all the time) and I’ve never had any issues securing them. Maybe those people to need to lift weights to strengthen their muscles. It does require a little effort, but didn’t seem to be a problem for me!Favorite Features:-When you adjust head rest, it lifts the straps up as well, so you don’t have to worry around changing the shoulder level of straps. I’ve bought a different brand before and you have to take the straps out and restring them through the holes on the next level. I like to save time!-Recline option. Is great for rear facing mode with little ones.-LEG ROOM!-Cup holders cup out so you can wash them!Cons:-bulky. However in my opinion all car seats are bulky so not a big issue for me. If you’re looking for something slimmer, this is not the one!-While this can be used for infants, I prefer to use an infant car seat while they are really little just for the convince of being able to carry the car seat out if they fall asleep. If this is your first time buying a car seat, keep in mind, you cannot do that with this one.-cover is not easy to come off if you wanted to wash it. I ended up just washing it while it was on there with a fabric cleaner and let it air dry.

I looked long and hard for a 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 car seat that would work WITHOUT the latch system snugly. I hesitated when this one said it worked without it, as a newborn car seat we tried in my older 2001 car was soooo unsafe and loose. This one was … surprisingly perfect. I read so many reviews where people had major issues installing it and needed two people to do so, including an adult to sit in it to hold it down…. but I installed it by myself, a petite 115 lb lady, and it ended up extremely snug and tight! I was so happy. Also since my car is tiny (ford escort) I was worried having it backward facing would make so I had zero leg room in the passenger front seat…not so! It gives spacious amounts of room to my baby as well as normal leg room for front seat!! I was amazed! It seems like such a big car seat in the box but it is very well engineered for tight fits. I will update as we ride around with this car seat. I was like a kid at christmas to find this car seat. It’s not overpriced and literally perfect. Love how it adjusts to grow with baby.

THANK YOU!
